Hello! I am Catherine, your host at Number 18, and I look forward to welcoming you to Dornoch. ​It's a beautiful place and whether you are a first-time or returning visitor the town has so much to offer.

I live locally with my hubby and 3 almost teenage kids. We are an outdoor family and make the most of living near the beach, the mountains and one of the world's best golf courses.

I have written a children's book, set in Dornoch. Winston the Bear and the Dragon of the Black Firs is based on a local folktale and tells of Winston's adventures trying to track down an elusive dragon. Find out more here.
